1 unit green chilli pepper, deseeded, finely copped
4 sprigs of coriander, destalked,
100 g plain flour
0.5 tsp. baking powder
0.5 tsp. chilli powder
0.5 tsp. ground cumin
0.5 tsp. salt
120 g water


150 g onion, peeled, cut into wedges
50 g carrot, peeled


  vegetable oil, as needed


Instructions

STEP 1/5

Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

Grease the baking tray.

Fit the K-Beater to the machine.

STEP 2/5

Add chilli, coriander, flour, baking powder, chilli powder, cumin and salt into the Mixer bowl.

Attach the Mixer bowl to the machine and fit the splashguard.

Mix on speed 1.

With the machine running, gradually pour water into the Mixer bowl.

Mix on speed 1 until a thick paste is formed.

STEP 3/5

Remove the K-Beater.

Assemble the Food Processor attachment to the machine.

Fit the Coarse Grating Disc, attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place.

Grate onion and carrot into the Mixer bowl.

Mix well until vegetables are coated in the dough.

STEP 4/5

Roll the dough into balls.

Place bhajis onto the greased baking tray.

Drizzle with oil.

Turn the bhajis over.

STEP 5/5

Bake at 200ºC for 10 minutes.
