Ingredients

300 g water
1 tsp. dried yeast


500 g plain flour
  salt, to taste


1  egg, beaten
  sesame seeds, as needed


Instructions

STEP 1/5

Line the large baking tray with parchment paper

Fit the Knife blade to the CookEasy+ bowl

Fit the CookEasy + bowl to the CookEasy+ machine

STEP 2/5

Add Ingredients 1 (water, dried yeast) into the CookEasy+ bowl

Attach the lid and ensure the Filler cap is fitted

Cook at 30ºC on speed 5 for 2 minutes

STEP 3/5

Add Ingredients 2 (plain flour, salt) into the CookEasy+ bowl

Attach the lid and ensure the Filler cap is fitted

Mix on speed 7 for 15 seconds

Mix on speed 8 for 30 seconds

Carefully transfer the dough from the CookEasy+ bowl to a lightly floured work surface

Lightly knead the dough

Gently roll the dough into long sausage shapes about 25 cm x 2 cm

Carefully transfer the dough to the large baking tray

Leave to proof for 1 hour

STEP 4/5

Pre-heat the oven to 190ºC

Brush the first item of Ingredients 3 (egg) over the dough

Sprinkle the last item of Ingredients 3 (sesame seeds) over the dough

STEP 5/5

Bake at 190ºC for 20 minutes
