FAQS

Duo Prep 2-in-1 Chopper and Grinder

Can I process meat?

Yes, the serrated QuadBlades of the chopper are perfect for processing meat into a paste. Please refer to the instruction manual for quantities and timings.

Can I put the grinder in the dishwasher?

Yes, you can! The grinder and the lid (as well as the chopper bowl, blades, lid and the spatula!) can be placed on the top rack of the dishwasher for easy cleaning.

Can Duo Prep grind dried turmeric?

Duo Prep can process fresh turmeric, but we do not recommend grinding dried turmeric alone. However, we do have a spice recipe that includes other ingredients alongside dried turmeric. Please refer to the instruction manual.

What is the difference between "rated power" and "locked motor power"?

The product is tested in two ways to determine wattage rating. An independent testing lab provides the approved base line power rating which is 800W. The other measurement of 1000W is the locked motor power. This is often referred to as the maximum power, indicating the motor's capacity to go beyond normal usage and briefly achieve a peak of of 1000W.
