You can never go wrong when pairing chocolate with alcohol. This pudding exceeds the depth of flavour created by the addition of crisp, slightly bitter stout. Each bite hits the perfect balance between sweet and bitter - the only drawback is waiting for it to cool. The centre of the puddings will sink slightly as the recipe does not contain any flour. This warm, rich dark chocolate pudding with a gooey centre is perfect as a Father’s Day dessert.

  1. Grease 4 clean ramekin
  2. Add butter and dark chocolate to a clean heatproof bowl
  3. Microwave in microwave until melted while stirring occasionally
  4. Set aside
  5. Attach Whisk
  6. Add egg and caster sugar to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted - 3 min, Speed Max
  8. Transfer chocolate mixture to Kenwood Bowl
  9. Add stout to the Kenwood Bowl
  10. Fold carefully until combined
  11. Spoon content of Kenwood Bowl into 4 ramekin
  12. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  13. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  14. Retrieve the ramekins from the fridge and place onto the baking tray
  15. Bake - 20 min, 200°C
  16. Remove from oven
  17. Let rest - 1 min
  18. Serve
