Nothing will get you more in the festive spirit than warming up with a rich, boozy hot chocolate. A splash of whiskey sets this cocktail apart from your childhood hot chocolates and depending on your preference, you can use milk or dark chocolate to taste, if it has at least 50% cocoa solids to prevent it from becoming too sweet.

  1. Attach the Stir Tool
  2. Add unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar and whole milk to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted until well combined - 2 min, Speed 2
  5. Pour whole milk into the Cooking Chef XL Bowl gradually while machine is running
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted - 3 min, Speed 2
  7. Heat with splashguard fitted - 1 min, 110°C, Stir 2
  8. Remove the Stir Tool
  9. Add chocolate to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  10. Attach the Whisk
  11. Heat with splashguard fitted - 10 min, 95°C, Speed Min
  12. Then add whiskey to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  13. Heat with splashguard fitted - 3 min, 95°C, Speed Min
  14. Divide chocolate mixture between 8 drinking glasses
  15. Serve
