Layered Apple and Cinnamon Breakfast Granola

This recipe consists of a quick, no added sugar, stewed apple filling using grated apple, followed by an oven baked oat granola. Once both elements are cooked and completely cool you can assemble this healthy breakfast in pots, layering the fruit and granola with natural yoghurt. Add a little honey, if you like.

  1. Attach the Stir Tool
  2. Add Braeburn apple, ground cinnamon, lemon juice and water to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Cook with splashguard fitted - 10 min, 110°C, Stir 3
  5. Transfer the mixture into a small bowl and let cool
  6. Pre-heat oven - 140°C
  7. Remove the Stir Tool
  8. Add jumbo oats, blanched hazelnut, apple, almonds, walnuts, ground cinnamon, honey, vegetable oil and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  9. Attach the K-Beater
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted - 45 sec, Stir 1
  11. Transfer mixture to baking tray
  12. Bake - 10 min, 140°C
  13. Stir the granola mixture
  14. Bake while stirring occasionally - 30 min, 140°C
  15. Add natural yogurt to a clean rocks glass
  16. Top with 1 Tbsp of the cooked apple and 2 Tbsp of granola
  17. Repeat this layering process once more
  18. Serve
