Ingredients

• 150g King Prawn- roughly chopped
• 25g Green Onion- chopped
• 80g Shiitake Mushrooms- sliced
• 250g Ground Pork
• 30g Water Chestnuts
• 2 tablespoons Light Soy Sauce
• 3 tablespoons Water
• 2 teaspoons Cornflour
• 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
• 1/4 teaspoon Ground White Pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon Granulated Sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon Salt
• 45 Wonton Wrappers
• Vegetable Oil as needed
• Sweet Chili Sauce as needed

Method

Step 1

1. Attach the K-Beater
2. Add ground pork, king prawn, green onion, water chestnuts, shiitake mushrooms, light soy sauce, water, cornflour, sesame oil, ground white pepper, granulated sugar and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
4. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 1

Step 2

1. Place wonton wrappers on a clean work surface
2. Spoon 1 tsp of filling into the centre of each wrapper
3. Dip your finger into a bowl of water and moisten the edges of the wrapper
4. Fold the wrapper in half and press down to seal
5. Flip the dumpling over and dab a little water on the two outer points
6. Bring them together and press down to seal

Step 3

1. Add vegetable oil to a clean large saucepan until 1/3 full
2. Heat - medium-high heat
3. Transfer dumplings to large saucepan
4. Fry, in batches, until golden brown - 4 min

Serve

1. Serve with sweet chili sauce

Substitutions:

• Shiitake mushrooms can be replaced with mushrooms
• Light soy sauce can be replaced with dark soy sauce
• Ground white pepper can be replaced with ground black pepper
• Granulated sugar can be replaced with caster sugar
